o Collector Car Show – collector cars and trucks will be in the grassy area at the West End of Pioneer Park for all to see.
o Home Depot Kids Building Clinic – Kids can explore their carpentry skills to build small wooden projects with assistance from family and staff.
o Food Concessions – Sloppy Joes and Hot Dogs will be available at the pavilion and at a stand near the car show. Snow cones and root beer floats will also be served.
o The Wright County Sheriff’s Office will be offering a Canine Show.
o Petting Zoo & Pony Rides – Children’s pony rides are available and several small farm and exotic animals will be on exhibit.
o Kids Games – Kids play area will be on the West side of the pavilion.
o Pie Eating contest – Local Community Leaders will take part in a pie eating contest.
o Temporary Tattoos – The Monticello Rotary candidates will be providing free temporary tattoos to kids in the park.
o 321 Launch Trampoline Launch pad amusement Ride.
5K & Kids Fun Run
Start your morning off with the Monticello Riverfest 5K at West Bridge Park. You can sign up on the Riverfest website under the Event Registration tab.
PARADE---Starts at NOON
The Parade Route -
The parade starts on 3rd Street at the Monticello American Legion Club and heads East to Walnut Street. Then it will take a right on Walnut Street and head South until 6th Street. The Parade takes a right on 6th Street and heads West to Minnesota Street where it turns South and ends on 7th Street. The parade will not cross Highway 25. (Parade units will end up near the area where they lined up.)
