Monticello Riverfest kicks off this year on FRIDAY night with the ultimate fun night of Family entertainment! Come on down, over, whichever way you travel, to Pioneer Park for all the activities you can handle!
Activities include:
o Collector Car Show – hundreds of collector cars and trucks will be in the grassy area at the West End of Pioneer Park for all to see and admire
o Home Depot Kids Building Clinic – Kids can explore their carpentry skills by choosing a small wooden project and assembling it to take home with the assistance of family and staff
o Food Concessions – Sloppy Joe Dinner and Hot Dogs will be available at the Pioneer Park Pavilion and under a tent near the car show. Snow cones and root beer floats will also be available for purchase
o The Wright County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Canine Demonstration Show
o Petting Zoo & Pony Rides – Children’s pony rides are available for purchase and at no cost, several small animals will be on exhibit
o Kids Games – Kids play area will be on the West side of the pavilion.
o Pie Eating contest – Local Community Leaders will take part in a pie eating contest
o 321 Launch Trampoline Launch pad on site for purchase
KRWC AM 1360 Roadshow will be on-site
